VS&Co Partners with The Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS)

We were proud to recently send members of our team to Miami, Florida to participate at the LAFS conference to continue building community and connection within the Latin American community. Read on to learn about the conference, activations that took place, and our panelists.

What is LAFS?

It’s an inspiring platform with a mission to elevate and enrich the Latin American fashion industry. The project began as an annual conference that gathered respected industry leaders from around the globe and has grown into much more. They’ve transformed into a powerful community—an omnichannel platform that features Latin American talent and leads in content creation and event planning, which creates opportunities for fashion entrepreneurs across the region. Their initiative begam when founding members noticed a lack of opportunities within areas that were receiving a growing international interest.

What Activations Took Place at the Conference?

VS&Co sent three representatives to host an intimate talk on their work, career journey, and experiences as members of the community: Jessica Dennis-Capiraso, Antonio Campos, and Susan Stipcianos. The conversation was moderated by Samantha Tams.

Participation in the annual LAFS Brand Pitch Competition, featuring VP of Emerging Business, Raymond Perez as a judge.

A pop-up space that engaged attendees with a VSX product showcase, exclusive offers, size consultations provided by bra fit experts from our stores, and a 360-photo booth.

Sponsored 40 students to attend the Summit and provided 500 gifts to attendees.

Hosted an informational session with students, presented by Mary Grace Clark and Larissa Diez from our early talent and recruiting teams to discuss career opportunities and the culture at VS&Co.
