Celebrating Black History Month
At Victoria’s Secret & Co., we are committed to celebrating and spotlighting the contributions of Black creators, founders and voices within our community. This year, we’re focusing on cultivating wholeness by uplifting mental and physical wellbeing.
That will take shape through a kick-off conversation with influencer and style expert Jenee Naylor, connecting with founders Aurora James of Fifteen Percent Pledge and Brother Vellies and Tai Beauchamp of Tai Life Media and BROWN GIRL Jane, hosting a day-long marketplace highlighting Black-owned brands in both our Columbus and New York City offices, and inviting our associates to a live meditation and yoga session with Replenish, the first Black-owned spa operated in Columbus. Read on to learn more about our other initiatives this February and beyond.

We loved having Jenee speak with our associates on a panel about authenticity and wellness earlier this month. She is one of the world’s most sought-after style influencers and content creators, known for her effortless, inspiring mix of luxury and affordable beauty, fashion, and home decor.
Through her social media platforms, brand partnerships, and Style Unlocked YouTube series, Jenee shares her belief that great style and luxurious experiences are within everyone’s reach, as well as talking candidly with other tastemakers about their shared dedication to the power of style. In 2023, she became a Victoria’s Secret brand ambassador, showing us all how to embrace glamour in our everyday lives with made-to-be-seen looks.

VS&Co returned to the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala for the third year by sponsoring a storefront spotlighting two Black-owned brands, Jessica Rich and Nichole Lynel, at the Pledge’s 15th Street Block Party. This experience was centered on supporting the local community, and the Pledge’s mission. The Pledge donated all proceeds from ticket sales to businesses impacted by the fires.
The recent wildfires in Los Angeles have had an indelible impact on the success of Black businesses not just in California, but all over the country. And with destruction taking place in historic neighborhoods like Altadena that have long served as a beacon of Black home ownership and a haven for artistry and creativity, the Pledge’s work of providing support and a spotlight on Black entrepreneurs, founders, and partners is more critical than ever.
We are proud to support the Pledge’s work to amplify and celebrate Black creatives and entrepreneurs.
We’re keeping the energy going by connecting with the Pledge’s founder Aurora James in a conversation that continues our ongoing goal of providing associates the opportunity to collectively reset and recharge.
