I Wore It (So You Know if it’s Worth It!): The New VSX Featherweight™ Max, Medium, and Light Sports Bras

If you’ve been here for a while, you know the VSX Featherweight™ Max really is that girl when it comes to Sports Bras. And not to brag or anything, but I do consider myself to be a bit of an aficionado when it comes to this style (exhibit A and exhibit B, thank you very much). So, when I heard we were launching two new iterations (Light Balconette and Medium V-Neck), I said “spectacular, give me 14 of them right now.”

And while yes, that was a chronically online response, I am now the proud owner of all three styles: VSX Featherweight™ Max, VSX Featherweight™ Medium V-Neck, and VSX Featherweight™ Light Balconette—and I’m here to tell you if they’re worth adding to your collection.

VSX Featherweight™ Max: Running

I must be honest with you—I am not a runner. I get deeply inspired by the NYC marathon every year; however, I remain a proud patron. But, for the sake of science, I took this bra out on a (short) run.

My takeaway? While I will not be chasing a runner’s high any time soon, I can confidently say this bra is WORKING. I felt completely secure, covered, and held in place. The bounce control is major. For reference, I am a 36C and wearing a size large.

VSX Featherweight™ Medium V-Neck: Cycling Class

While I have worn my Max style many times, this was a first for the Medum V-Neck. The most noticeable difference off the bat is the coverage. This silhouette has a V-Neck design and it’s…sexy. I didn’t know that’s something I wanted from my Sports Bras, but I definitely do now.

I wore this to a cycling class and while I was still totally supported and didn’t worry about falling out, I personally prefer the full coverage of the Max for anything cardio based. BUT, if you’re not afraid to show off a little, the mirrors steaming up won’t be the only thing that’s hot in the cycling studio.

VSX Featherweight™ Light Balconette: Hot-Girl Walk

Yes, this is where I thrive. I am a hardcore 10,000-steps-a-day gal and finding new pieces to wear makes it even better. What the Medium V-Neck was doing for sexy, this silhouette is doing for femininity. The best way to describe this neckline is pretty. It’s just the right amount of coverage, thin yet supportive straps, and overall light and comfortable.

I very easily achieved my step goal and would also layer this style into my crop-top rotation to wear with blazers, cardigans, or under sheer tops.

So, is it Worth It?

I’m giving the VSX Featherweight™ family a resounding “yes!”. They all have adjustable straps, breathable material, amazing support, and laid totally flat (I experienced zero digging). Couple that with that fact they look good…sold, sold, and sold.
