“Is This What It Feels Like to Be an Influencer?” My Long Weekend Away in Victoria’s Secret Beachwear & Swim

My 12-year-old self would plotz if she knew one day she was going on a tropical vacation in Punta Cana with clothes and swimwear provided by THE Victoria’s Secret (okay, fame). And while I would never let that go to my head…I’m excited to share the outfits I wore as I sipped fruity drinks, ate yummy food, and forced my unsuspecting boyfriend into the role he was born to play: my personal photographer. Let’s get into it.
Day 1

Since we landed in the late afternoon, we headed to the room and got ready for evening activities. While I’d like to tell you I started a resort-wide dance party, led a conga line, and dominated limbo, we opted for a post-dinner nighttime walk (sit) on the beach complete with a chez lounge and a vibrant (maybe too vibrant?) orange beverage. The food and drink that I consumed over these three days was none of my business.

I wore this polka dot VS Beachwear maxi dress, and it was perfect. It had a tie at the neck and back, so I was able to adjust the support and go braless (no small feat for my 36Cs). And the strategically placed slits made it so when the breeze got breezing, the fabric never blew up or out. It was super lightweight, and I will definitely be wearing it again for NYC summer rooftop nights.
Day 2

And now for what we have all been waiting for, I am finally getting into the sun! With nothing but a spray tan and a dream, I donned a bikini for the first time since August. Luckily, this super supportive VS Swim triangle top was doing the lord’s work. I paired it with the matching VS Swim side-tie bottoms which had PERFECT coverage. I am not a cheeky gal, but I also don’t want to feel totally covered (for tanning purposes, of course), so this bottom struck the perfect balance between showing a little but not too much.

As a cover-up, I popped on this mesh long-sleeve top which was really light and airy and offered an edgy, cool-girl vibe to the whole look. And I loved that the pop of berry could be seen under the sheer black.
Day 3

I’m not going to lie to you, we are not adventure people. We entertained zip lining, ATVing, and even going to a place called “Monkey Land”, but ultimately said…pool, please. So, our third day was more of the same: eat, drink, tan, repeat. But just because I’m being a lazy oaf doesn’t mean I didn’t want to look great while doing so. Enter this VS Swim strapless ruched one-piece and mesh knot pant. I was able to wear this look from coffee bar to breakfast buffet to beach without ever looking out of place or underdressed.

TLDR: Book a flight, get cute clothes, lay around and get your picture taken. That and a frozen drink will heal you.
