Behind the Scenes of the New Victoria’s Secret Campaign with Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, and More

Across the pond in England, we sat down with the stars of our new Victoria’s Secret Dream shoot to enjoy a cup of tea and talk about all things beauty, comfort, and more.

Candice Swanepoel

First things first, how do you take your tea?

“Milk, no sugar. Yeah, I would say milky.”

If modeling were to *poof* disappear, what would you want to do?

“I would probably become some wild woman living in the jungle—teaching my children to farm and live off the land.”

Can you give us three modeling tips?

“Confidence, courage, and I feel like you need a lot of curiosity.”

Name something beautiful.

“Bahati.”

Name something comfortable.

“My sweatpants, which I live in if I’m not working.”

Where do you feel the most comfortable?

“At home, in my bed, doing nothing.”

Tell us about a memory from a past VS shoot or show.

“A lot of the moments with just being together with people that I spent a lot of time with and grew to love, hanging out before shoots, being in amazing locations, and those in-between moments of connection and camaraderie.”

Endless clothing allowance or endless travel allowance?

“Endless travel allowance, for sure.”

What’s something people don’t know about you?

“I’m quite a recluse. I’m an introvert.”

Mayowa Nicholas

First things first, how do you take your tea?

“I actually love tea—I do like green tea or chamomile tea at night. And I have it with honey. So good—like, I’m a tea lover, so I’m obsessed.

If modeling were to *poof* disappear, what would you want to do?

“I think I would go back to accounting, because I was studying accounting before I got into modeling.”

Can you give us three modeling tips?

“One, just be yourself. Two, don’t forget to invest in yourself. Three, surround yourself with people that love and support you.”

You have the AUX cord and it’s your job to get people dancing, what song do you play?

“Afrobeats, anything Afrobeats is a vibe.”

Name something beautiful.

“Well, this castle is beautiful. This castle—this moment—is beautiful.”

Name something comfortable.

“Oh, this robe. This robe is very comfortable.”

Where do you feel the most comfortable?

“When I’m getting out of the shower in the evening. It’s probably been a long day and just laying down with some tea. Probably some music, like R&B playing. That’s my most comfortable because I’m Zen. There’re no distractions, it’s just me and my tea.”

Tell us about a memory from a past VS shoot or show.

“One that comes to mind—it was an overwhelming emotion for me—was the last VS film that happened. We filmed it in Barcelona and one of the designers was Nigerian, so that was very special.”

Endless clothing allowance or endless travel allowance?

“Travel, endless travel allowance. I feel like I’m more of a travel, adventure kind of person.”

What’s something people don’t know about you?

“I feel like I’m a very good dancer. I feel like maybe that’s a hidden talent. If you see me at the party, you may not recognize me.”

What do you think the next big trend is going to be?

“I feel like the trends definitely start on TikTok. If you see any trends on TikTok, it’s definitely going to translate to real life.”

Sum up how the bra you’re wearing makes you feel in three words.

“Sexy, soft, and graceful.”

Taylor Hill

First things first, how do you take your tea?

“When I drink tea, I drink it in the form of matcha with almond milk.”

If modeling were to *poof* disappear, what would you want to do?

“Oh my gosh, I would probably…I don’t know what I would do. I’ve been doing this for 14 years, what would I do? I would probably do some sort of design, interior design, something like that.”

Can you give us three modeling tips?

“Number one would be posture. You always have to master a good fake smile because, you know, they always want it to look candid, so you have to make sure it’s from within and meets your eyes. And then I would say patience because it’s a long day and you do a lot of the same things over and over again.”

You have the AUX cord and it’s your job to get people dancing, what song do you play?

“I would say anything Britney Spears because I feel like that really gets people going. And it’s nostalgic, you know, she’s a pop icon.”

Name something beautiful.

“I would say nature—it’s pretty beautiful.”

Name something comfortable.

“I mean, sweatpants, pretty comfortable.”

Where do you feel the most comfortable?

“When I just feel like myself—whether that’s the clothes I’m wearing or, you know, makeup, hair, however I get ready or get dressed in the morning. I think that always makes me feel most comfortable and the most confident.”

Tell us about a memory from a past VS shoot or show.

“My first VS Fashion Show that I ever did. It was in 2014 and I just remember being really excited and really nervous. I was 18 and it was, you know, it was my first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, a huge deal. And, I just had the best time.”

Endless clothing allowance or endless travel allowance?

“Well, that’s not fair because you kind of need clothes to travel, and you want to have different things for different places. But I think for me, I would say a travel allowance, just because I really love to being able to travel and see new places and do things—especially when it’s not for work—because then I really get to experience a new culture.”

Who is someone’s closet you would like to shop?

“It would have to be Carrie Bradshaw. I mean, she has everything.”

What do you think the next big trend is going to be?

“I think for me, personally, it would be—I see a lot of Western coming back, which makes me really happy.”

Sum up how the bra you’re wearing makes you feel in three words.

“Very beautiful, very feminine, and very lightweight. It’s very comfortable while still being beautiful.”
